The Caparol Group develops, produces and markets high quality paints, enamels, glazes, structural coatings, materials for facade and insulation technology as well as hobby and artist's paints. It is the market leader for building paints in Germany, Austria and Turkey and with approximately € 900 million turnover, it is the fourth largest company in Europe within this business field. The group's headquarters is in Ober Ramstadt in Germany, about 35 kilometres from the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Airport.

The successful growth in over 113 year history of our family company is primarily due to two factors: its force of innovation and the proximity to its customers. Since its foundation, Caparol has continually contributed to the sector's enrichment through quality paints which are innovative, environmentally friendly and harmless to health. In addition, as a medium-sized company we have constantly operated a continuous and reliable business strategy, always oriented to the benefit of our customers. After all, the trust and satisfaction of our customers represent our most valuable capital.

Caparol was established in Dubai in 1998 and over the years we have brought the best of our German technology and service to bear in the developing markets of  the MiddleEast and South Asia (Sri Lanka, India and the Maldives).

In 2007, that business took a significant step forward by joining with a local company, Emaar Industrial investments, thus now being in a position to merge the best of Caparol (German technology and production efficiency)with the strength of  a company intimate with local development requirements and will grow from strength to strength.

Our most important objective is and will be, to justify and maintain the trust shown to us by our customers. We will therefore be using our whole knowledge and ability in the on-going development of products and services so that our customers have the opportunity of better protecting and designing their living quarters.
